Write a Story: Child’s Perspective

7 Points

Can girls be robots?

Where does the sun go?

Why are we born young and grow old?

Where do thoughts come from?

Children have a curiosity for the world that can often inspire them to ask difficult questions like these from filmmaker Kelly O’Brien’s five-year-old daughter Willow.

In the spirit of curiosity, write a poem entirely of questions. How might you use a child’s perspective to explore your own concerns and wonder for the world?

To earn points, submit at least 10 lines of your poem. (Note: please copy/paste the text into the submission box.)
